In his book On Spiritual in Art, Wassily Kandinsky wrote, that orange "is similar [...] to a man convinced of his power". The colour of the Golden Gate Bridge connecting San Francisco with Marin county is GGB International Orange. This colour is processed by our brains longer, but it's not as overwhelming as other colours it's combined of (red and yellow). It's usually associated with the Sun, kindness and warmth. According to some research, it stimulates the appetite and supports digestion.
