In European symbolics it's the colour of the enlightened, in contact with the gods. According to research, yellow stimulates the left brain hemisphere, encourages concentration, creativity and ability to think logically. Often coupled with the avant-garde, flashy yellow brings to mind laser shows in clubs with rave music.
